This little dung heap of a film is like a bad public service announcement. It begins with a family whose daughter is going out for the evening. The mother disapproves, but the father says it’s ok. Then the focus turns to the random other girl who lives with them and her sad story. The rest of the film is that sad story which amounts to having gotten drunk and married. A little cross-cutting between the story and the parents worrying reminds us they are still around. She seems to end up happily married in the end, although it’s hard to tell. The daughter from the beginning ends up calling to say that she is getting married. They all seem to be happy about it. I guess the moral is that as long as you know what you are getting into it isn’t a Reckless Action, which is the alternate title of the movie. Avoid this film like the plague and if you have a daughter, do as the title says, protect her from this waste of time.
