To explain the plot of this film would be to ruin it for anyone who wants to see it. Basically the film is about two moments of innocence. The first when a young soldier tries to give a flower to girl, but finds himself getting stabbed. The second when three young actors try to re-create the aforementioned incident. The outcomes of the two incidents reflect the changes in Iran since the revolution.
This film is worth seeing for two reasons: 1. If you have never seen an Iranian film before, 2. To see the how far the Italian neorealist tradition has spread. Give it a shot, it’s only about an hour long.
